Andover Youth Cricket has over 200 young men and women members, ranging from 5 to 18 years of age, who play over 150 outdoor matches in the summer months and over 150 6-a-side indoor matches during the winter.

 Indoor winter coaching is provided at John Hanson Community School and outdoor practice evenings at Andover Cricket Club during the summer term (including half-term and bank holidays) with qualified coaches. 

 Several members are selected for indoor winter coaching and outdoor summer matches by Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket (one of the four Districts in Hampshire) and indeed by Hamshire Cricket Board to represent the Hampshire age group teams.

 Many of the older members, from about 13 or 14, also play for Andover Cricket Club’s five Saturday XIs and two Sunday XIs during the summer months.

 In 2008 Andover Youth Cricket will again be fielding two sides at each of U9, U11, U13 and U15, two mixed age group holiday league sides and one U17 side.
