1st XI Off the Mark

11th May: Dodge's comments proved apt as the 1st XI went to a comfortable 58 run win over Hursley Park. Andover 178 (20)(Taylor 40, Saye 29, Birkenstock 25, M Taylor 4-22) Hursley Park 120 (4)(Hughes 33, Taylor 3-12) Andover won by 58 runs. The 2nds also got off to a winning start at Portchester. Andover made 234 and bowled Portchester out for 109. The 4ths had a good win over local rivals Longparish. Andover made 180 and bowled Longparish out for just 86.
