Match report After last week's debacle, Andover IV's lost again, but salvaged some pride against a more evenly match Wherwell side. Andover's batting struggled after being put in, totting up only 115 off the 42 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Richard Channon (26) was again the anchor for most of the inning, but Edwin John (34*) played with some necessary aggression in the tail to win Andover a couple of batting points. Adi Holdway was the pick of the bowling for Wherwell with 3 for just 16 runs in his 10 overs. He was ably supported by Gladwyn and Pettman who took a brace apiece.

Wherwell's openers, Holdway (27) and Gladwyn (21), brought their team most of the way to the win, but were stymied by an excellent opening spell from Dan Leavesley (10 overs, 2 for 34). Goodman, Holloway and Andrews all picked up a wicket, but were unable to close out the game, with Wherwell reaching their target in 26 overs.
