Match report After a rough week for selection, Andover IV's (131-8) got soundly beaten by a strong Dinton side (132-2).

Andover won the toss and decided to bat first, with Steve Lent (20) and Ken Brown (20) getting Andover off to a decent start on a dry pitch. Kieran Godwin (16), Dan Du-heaume (18), and Sam Holloway (18) all managed to make a start, but unfortunately, were unable to carry on and cash in. As the rest of Andover's batting line-up didn't fire, it was up to skipper Goodman (6*) and Fran Andrews (10*) to make it as difficult as possible for the opposition, but the total was always going to be inadequate. Dinton's bowlers knew their home pitch and were difficult to get away, with A. O'Neill (6.0-2-16-2) and J. Sealey (10-4-24-1) the pick of the bowling.

D. Randall (38) and B. Coombes (27) went after Andover's weakened bowling attack from the start, looking extremely dangerous until Du-heaume got the breakthrough with a superb run-out from deep mid-wicket. Fran Andrews (7.0-1-22-1) got the only other wicket for Andover, before J. Seeley (18*) and R. Randall (35*) walked Dinton home comfortably in the 20th over.
