Match report Andover V's travelled to Steeple Langford where they played a strong oufit.
With Andover Fielding first the home side made a good start and were 44-1 off 12 overs. On a small ground and quick outfield Andover struggled to keep a consistent line and length and were punished by Steeple's middle order with G Smith top Scoring with 73 finally out caught behind off Ryan Ward 2-57. The home side posted 270-5 off 42 overs with A Wright 1-47 and A Jansen 1-35 the other Andover wicket takers.
In reply Andover's Openers made a solid start with K Brown scoring 39 and J Copestone 12, however with a middle order collapse Andover were never in the hunt and were dismissed for 131. There were some good performances from the lower order, R Skeates 17, J MaMahon 12 and H Morton 17 all prepared to take on an impressive Langford attack.
