Match report Andover V lost by 55 runs against Hampton Park due to outstanding individual performance from Hampton's Steve Haugh who scored 79 runs and took 6-44.
Andover's bowling improved at the weekend with Johnathan Rogers taking 2-44, producing a lively spell. Hampton Park reached 234 off 42 overs.
Andover lost two early wickets in reply but with Chris Hooper's attacking 38 the home side never gave up the chase. John Copleston 38 and Richard Woodley 25 maintained the required rate but with wickets falling Andover were dismissed for 179. An entertaining 32 from Robbie Skeates towards the end gave Andover some hope.
