Match report Andover V enjoyed a close fought match against Whiteparish at home. Batting first on a slow paced pitch Andover's openers hardworking partnership of 138 was good to watch between Chris Hooper and Ken Brown 53. Hooper produced an outstanding performance scoring 126 not out which showed strong concentration and natural ability. Andover finished on 215-1 after 42 overs.
Whiteparish in reply started slowing increasing the tempo throughout the innings. Aidan Jansen's fine spell 4-23 and Jay Mann 2-29 wasn't enough as Whiteparish reached 218-8 in 41st over, an interesting game of cricket.
