Match report Andover travelled to Wilton on Saturday where they suffered another defeat mainly due to a hard hitting knock by J Le Quesne who scored 101 but was dropped 3 times in the process. On a artificial pitch there was no margine for error but Andover bowled too many loose deliverys and were punished by Wiltons agressive style reaching 288-6 off 42overs. The pick of bowlers was John Baxter who took 3-45 supported by Brendan Clarke 2-40.
With the home side bowling a consistent line and length Andovers openers Chris Hooper 24 and John Baxter 34 found easy runs hard to come by, with the run rate increasing by the over and the rain starting to fall Wilton took full control of the game. After a 50 minute delay Andover were set a new target of 184 off 30 overs, chasing 83 off 9 overs Andover bravely fought all the way reaching 165 with Max Souter scoring a quick 29, Clarke also scoring 29 and Elenor Ingram 14.
