Match report Losing the toss Andover fielded first. After some brisk and accurate opening bowling from John Rogers (8-2-38-0) Steeple Langford rebuilt their innings with a 4th wicket stand of 80. However a strong comeback towards the end of the innings limited them to 209 for 8.
In reply Andover set off at a brisk pace scorinf 51 off 10 overs. Coming in at 12 for 2 James Richards batted through the innings to finish unbeaten on 58. Whilst we were all out for 138 it was a classic example of the value of the 6th team. All the colts involved played well and one scored his highest ever and his dad now owes him a new bat - rats!
