Match report On a sunny afternoon Andover Captain Jody Everett won the toss and decided to bat against the Border League newcomers. The Woodlands bowlers using the green wicket and home conditions to the best of their advantage making runs hard to come by. Will Turner (14) batted well on his home coming with a dogged knock along with the talanted Ed Duckworth (20). Skipper Everett came to the crease with the side wobbling a bit but steadied the ship with a good 35 ably assisted by A Aldridge 21. Youngster Matt Brown continued his good start to the season with the bat with a very accomplished 30. Andover did very well on a lively wicket to get to 172 which was a very completitive total.

Woodlands innings never got started. Skipper Everett taking 5 wickets for just 7 runs in four overs with a combination of deleveries on a green track and will be on a hat trick next time. Amazingly so will Ben Knight who took 2 wickets in two balls.

ACC bowled the home side out for 36 with extras being their top score in 17 overs. A really great result for ACC sunday 2nds and long may it carry on into the summer!
