Match report On a lovely day ACC sunday 2nds travelled to Thatcham for a Border League clash. ACC bowled and fielded extremely well with skipper Jody Everett using his variations to great effect claiming 3 more wickets and the now departed (for the rest of the season) James Duckworth a further two wickets. ACC managed to restrict the home side to just 179 in there alloted overs.

In reply the town side started off in great fashion with the ever improving talent of Matt Brown milking 44 runs with great effect. At the other end was Robbie Skeates who showed great concentration and skill to get ACC to what was thought to be a win. Skeates had a fantastic knock of 67 and it was a pleaseure to watch with shots all around the ground. After Brown and Skeates departed the wheels well and truely came off with only Jody Everett making double figures in a game that town should have easily won with a bit more concentration. In the end and with plenty of overs to spare we were 15 short of the required target. Frustrating to say the least. Next we travel to IBM to try and put this fact right!!!
