Andover Cricket Club 4th XI (Sat) v Hursley Park IV on Sat 16 Jun 2018 at 13:00
Andover Cricket Club Won 8 wickets

Match report In a game dominated by the batting of two players, Andover's Charles Palmer (126 not out) carried his bat to great effect and edged out Hursley's Marks (96 not out).
Palmer's effort was simply outstanding. Ably supported by the watchful Tom Scott (21) and the explosive Woodley (28), Palmer punished anything wayward and played exactly the innings the town side required as they chased down Hursley's 200 for 7.

Andover bowled well though some of the fielding was a bit disappointing. Wickets fell early and here we must mention Freddie Palmer (2-17) taking his first wickets in adult cricket.
Hursley's middle order resisted and this led to a decent 200 for 7 from their 40 overs. Andover's skipper suspected that his team might have a chance if they batted sensibly and thanks to the sterling efforts of Palmer senior, this proved to be the case. Andover finished on 202 for 2 and recorded a second league victory of the season.
