Today we played a local club in Longparish. We lost the toss and bowled first. We had some good bowling at the start in particular George with a consistent line and length. It was a good bowling start and sharp fielding reduced the score to 107. Other good bowling mentions were Cam and Harry F. Then we went into bat. We started very well with Harry f and George H both retiring and facing some tough bowling. Then . Zam followed and played very well, controlling some quick fast bowling. Edward came in and played brilliantly, with some great shots and great running between the wickets. Although we batted well, we still needed 10 runs of the last over. With some crucial threes and twos, we managed to get to 1 off the last ball. Toby came in and hit a single to win! It was a great game and we played very well against a strong local side. It was a great game and we cant wait to face them again and hopefully it will be as close as this one!
